Annals of Seriken [I.]



Due to insufficent information from the annals of Kanaki Seriken and his philosphers who researched, as well as those to follow in their heritage are left in secrecy; most likely to prevent other opposition from obtaining their information specifically for Seriken members was their purpose. Either way, Kanaki(Twilight) Seriken should be honored for his accomplishments, along with the seven followers who brought forth incredible advancements in technology within the interdimensional plane. Only a few of the names were retrieved from the records, leaving the others in secret:

First Generation.--

- Leader; Kanaki(Twilight) Seriken

- Philosopher; Daichi Seriken

- Philosopher/Kenjutsu Master; Isamu Seriken

- Philosopher/Sorcerer; Takahiro Seriken

The other four have yet to be retrieved -- their names.



There once co-existed a race of supernatural beings situated around different prefectures of Japan. Though, it was different reality apart from the actual Japan, it still intervened with one another to establish a balance of energies keeping the land stable. The secondary land, or "plane", were the very footholds of establishing something extraordinary... These beings possessed a much higher thinking than their interdimensional counterparts, which broke the grounds for new studies of theoretical principals; soon placed into a permanent reality one way or the other. Essentially, this evolved Japan itself into a technological powerhouse of incredibly complicated cultural background -- but was centuries away from being perfected as a permanent evolultion in mankind.

Yes, this otherworldly plane was a mere reflection of Japan itself but on a much higher level. Architecture and hierarchy to remain the same, but beliefs which contradicted one another. Leading to countless arguements that inevidably brought war upon one another, regardless of a person's decision to defect or be affiliated; numerous factions were surfaced with purpose to protect what was theirs; their beliefs; possessions.. you name it. One man of incredible intellect and battle prowless came to rise above most opposing organizations. The phenomenal man's name: Kanaki Seriken. Speaking from a good-hearted standpoint, Kanaki strongly believed in obtaining peace through what he considered, "righteous" ways. With his beliefs and charisma, several other believers who agreed in Kanaki's philosophies accompanied him without complaints. He hadn't expected many, or anyone at all to succumb to his beliefs due to the excessive influences of war, greed, and other negative obscurities deluding this society of slowly degrading persons, Kanaki knew someone had to put a stop to everything in hopes of changing the country for the better.

Extensive planning and studying was put into what Kanaki already had within his repertoire: manipulation of the light and darkness elements. He knew theoretically it was possible one might be able to combine such powers together, but the process of doing so he was unsure of. Fortunately, to be working with such talented philosophers like himself, who also had very similar traits, Kanaki underwent a different process to hopefully come up with some solution as to how this process of fusion could be conducted safely. He managed to establish transference of his abilities into the other seven, causing a whole new batch of ideas to begin surfacing amongst the group. For months, they've underwent experimentation using other components of the plane they existed on -- in secrecy of course with focus on adapting what science reality has managed to advance upon and formulate one solution. It was extremely risky, since combination of elements of this level and most of their research based off of assumptions with theoretical statements could end with a catastrophic failiure, or a miraculous advancement.

Through trial and error before attempting the actual fusion, Kanaki was overjoyed with successful fusion of both elements, allowing a new entity to be formed. Declared "Twilight", derived from his nickname being the same, and the universe itself, each member successfully adapted this new power with honor. Controlling the newfound power was an entirely different story; but hadn't seemed to matter since it produced an unorthidox feat that greatly contributed to furture adaptations: considerably slowed aging. This allowed more time to be allotted to mold this element into something spectacular, and finally bring the corrupted society to a new era of tranquility!


(Because of insufficent information and the inability to decipher the ancient manuscript Kankai and his philosphers wrote in, it's unclear of the next few blocks of unorthidox text. A synopsis will be attempted to sum up the rest of part I using a few assumptions and interpretation of text.)

Synopsis:


- Kanaki manages to succeed in creating a "new world" at the expense of falling ill to an overexertion of power which seemed to have inflicted accumulative damaging of all nerves, and decomposition of vitals.

- Within the short time span, he manages to produce a son with an unknown spouce. The son to be named Kaijinuno Seriken before death.

- Tranquility seems to have been accustomed well, along with the ways of Seriken being adapted by many to follow. Only those descendants of Seriken's heritage know the deepest aspects behind their philosophies and accomplishments made for generations to come.


[II.] - The Legacy: Kaijinuno Seriken



Second Generation.-- (unoffical)

- Kaijinuno Seriken



- Kaijinuno Seriken rose to power after the passing of Kanaki. In wihch case, very similar characteristics and prowless of Kanaki were passed into Kaijinuno, which seemingly allowed the continuation of Seriken.

- Though, the mentality of the family changed over time, the very foundation wasn't to be altered and philosophies, coupled with minor alterations granted Seriken new achievements.

- A tournament was held during Kaijinuno's ruling, for the inheritance of Seriken's leadership to another trusted member. Countless battles were fought which came down to two combatants: Renzu, and Vergil Seriken.

- Though, the two decided to declare the match a draw, and lead Seriken together at one united front, this ultimately led to a series of unfortunate events to follow...



[III.] - Controversies of a Failiure



Third Generation.--

- Renzu Seriken

- Blaze Seriken

- Haku Seriken

- Kaijinuno Junior Seriken

- Androxen Seriken

- Richard Eugene Seriken



- Plans were discussed for Seriken's future which were taken under constant consideration and had to be reconfigured accordingly, but due to one flaw Kaijinuno had made during his leadership, as well as Renzu and Vergil, a problematic individual would lead the group into a demise.

- Eventually, all leadership and power was placed into Renzu with faith of the other members -- supposedly. Everything appeared to have worked well for a while until defections were made, and arguements began to cause strain amongst the family. New members were to be added and old members departed of their own free will.

- A adolescent individual who went by many names, more commonly known by old members of Seriken: "Calintz, (imposter) Naruto, Shikamaru, et cetera Seriken". The very man who pushed Renzu on the brink of leading the family into a treacherous downfall caused continuous strain.

Majority of the family grew tired of the controversy running and ultimately the family was passed down to another individual whom Renzu trusted in hopes of restoring the family to it's former glory. And once more.. it failed. With lost of all hope, a long hiatus of the name was taken into retirement before undergoing an entire reconfiguration from the ground up~

- Among these events, Renzu was eventually taken in by Kaijinuno Seriken as his own blood, as well as the man Renzu trusted dearly. This gave birth to a new spark of hope.


[IV.] - Reestablishment of the Seriken Heritage



Current Generation.-- (Unoffical)

- After many months of contemplating of how to reconstruct Seriken from the ground up, Kaijinuno and Renzu Seriken decided to reestablish a new law amongst the group of alumni and new members. Regulations, the format of how everything once previously work was about to change entirely. For the better, the two hoped which started recruitment and gathering of close persons.

The plan itself: reestablishing Seriken's honorable ways and bring forth the reputation of this once well-respected family.


Teams.--



It's now offical that teams will be set up. As of now, they're altered to four-man squads consisting of two-to-three para-oriented fighters, and/or two speed or hybrid fighters.

Affiliates.--



Due to Seriken's considerable low numbers, our strength is not at it's pinnacle just yet; in which case affiliates would be gladly accepted to aid Seriken for future battles to come. Their full, or known names are required before being posted below to ensure the group understands whom, specifically is allied. This prevents confusion and a potential attack on one another if it comes down to such:

Bloodline Abilities.-- (Subject to change)



With acceptance into Seriken, all persons who weren't originally of the previous generations and current genertions to come are granted limited usage of the following abilities:

Dark Element: Adaptation of Seriken’s methods grants the user the ability of tainted energies. This can be used for multiple things that pertain to infamous or devious methods, such as necromancy, or other unholy uses. The extent to which a member of Seriken can use the dark element is limited at it’s early stages, despite their mastery of other elements, physical constitution, et cetera.

Light Element: Adaptation of the Seriken ways allow the user to have control of holy energies. Devastating attacks can be utilized using this element, but once again, has very limited usage which take centuries to mold into something extravagant.

Twlight Element: Only true masters of the Seriken bloodline can utilize the Twilight Element. Only those of the original seven followers and the founder of Seriken were the ones to come up with experimental methods to make this element come into existence, and by doing so, they were granted with abilities far beyond what any other have come to know. Combination attacks using both elements can be shown, but typically the color that this element gives off is that of a crystalized grey hue. Constant use can result in a considerable drained state due to it’s serious power consumption, which is why the power is forbidden from being used only as a last resort tactic.
